Feels Good but There Are Some Major Quality Issues

I want to like the Nevada. It rides well, I like how it handles and how it looks. The reality is that I have dealt with a large number of parts failing in quick succession. Within three weeks of only riding on paved trails the derailleur hanger snapped, causing the derailleur to get tangled in the chain. My bike shop gave me a free tune up and replaced the parts (front and rear derailleur) and said that they had never seen a new bike fail so bad. Somehow the chain has also gotten stuck between the frame and the crankset, scraping the frame. Now, three months after buying it, the bottom bracket appears to be failing, I have had to disassemble and reassemble the front shifter when it stopped working, and the disk breaks appear to be rubbing on the pads.

All said, these are cheap parts that won't cost much to replace, and really you should be upgrading them anyways, but it's pretty disheartening to deal with this on a new bike. I've dealt with fewer issues on a 10 year old bike with the same group sets. I had planned on getting a second Nevada for winter commuting but I will be looking elsewhere now.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. We would really appreciate the opportunity to learn more about these issues and how we can make things right. Please email customerservice@fujibikes.com and we would be happy to look further into this.

Thank you for your business!
