The FUJI-SERVETTO team has already decided their lineups for the first 2009 season races. The team will split in two groups, heading to Oceania and South America, respectively.
The first FUJI-SERVETTO unit, led by Alvaro Crespi, will set off for Aussie lands on January 12th, to take part in the Cancer Council Classic in Adelaide six days later. That race will be preceding the Tour Down Under, the first stop of the 2009 UCI ProTour, starting at Norwood on January 20th. For the double appearance, the team will be composed by Ermanno Capelli, Daniele Nardello and Davide Vigano (ITA), Hilton Clarke and William Walker (AUS), Javier Megias (SPA) and Ivan Dominguez (CUB).
The other group will travel to Argentina on January 15th, to start the 3rd edition of the Tour de San Luis, sanctioned by the UCI with a 2.1 categorization for the first time ever, on the 19th. Sabino Angoitia will be the Director Sportif, where Alberto Benitez, David de la Fuente, Jesus del Nero, Beñat Intxausti, Hector Gonzalez and Ricardo Serrano will be the riders.
