Jon Brown
As the elder statesmen of the team at 35 years old, Jon brings a strong credibility to the team with his prior years of successful mountain bike racing on the NORBA scene. He’s a local business owner who finds a delicate balance between work and training. Growing up in upstate NY, Jon was a successful junior Nordic skier who brought his talents out to Western State College. Here he learned to appreciate the mountains and picked up mountain biking to compliment his Winter efforts. Needless to say he worships the bike and has taught the team a thing or two about bikemanship over his 5 years on the team. |

Jari Kirkland
Not just the “token” female on Team Salomon/Crested Butte, but lead navigator. She’s 29 years young and has been a team member for the last 4 1/2 years. As the course gets longer Jari’s engine gets stronger. She holds numerous course records, such as the 24 Hours of Moab, & Montezuma’s Revenge. Bold & beautiful Jari grew up competitively swimming all the way through college. After moving to the mountains of Colorado she immediately took up triathlons, Nordic skiing, and running. Good luck trying to catch her! |

Eric Sullivan
The “baby” of the team at 26 years old. Growing up in Kansas, he dreamed of taking his game to the mountains and pushing his body in what ever he does. He holds several amateur boxing belts, in addition to the numerous multi-sport achievements. Most recently he picked up randonee racing this Winter, and in his first season has already placed second at the 24 Hours of Sunlight! As a member of Team Salomon/Crested Butte for the last 3 years, Eric is a well rounded athlete that excels in what ever he puts his mind to. One of the youngest in the sport he’s got a bright future. |

Bryan Wickenhauser
The longest standing member of Team Salomon/Crested Butte, Bryan is a jack of all trades when it comes to adventure racing. From the business end of the team to running the navigation if Jari’s fried. Having growing up as a soccer player & alpine ski racer in Wisconsin, he naturally was attracted to the mountains of Crested Butte, CO. At 34 years old Bryan has found a new appreciation for Nordic skiing & back country touring in the local mountains. This winter Bryan is currently in 2nd place overall in the Colorado Ski Mountaineering Cup (COSMIC). |
