BICYCLES SINCE 1899.

FUJI. It’s all about you. At Fuji, designing high performance bicycles is not a job; it’s a passion. Using only the best materials and advanced technology, we have produced some of the finest bikes on the market. Fuji offers quality and performance throughout our entire line, which you’ll take with you on the road or trail. Pick from our endless selection to find the perfect bike to fit your needs. We take serious pride in knowing Fuji bicycles are Simply Better.
With many levels of carbon to choose from, Fuji is using the highest level of raw carbon available to produce a frame that is UCI legal and race ready.

After the carbonization of the MR60S material, we’ve added our own ingredients that result in our C7 tubing. C7 has a density of 1.80g/cc with the highest measured strength at 2.00g/cc. This gives the tubing a tensile strength of 579Mpa and an elastic stiffness of 29.5. C7 has a fatigue life that extends beyond any element or material used in the bike industry.

The finishing layer is a basket weave design and has a filament count of 24,000 strands per layer, adding to the strength of the frame.

A6 is a revolutionary new quaternary phase aluminum alloy containing magnesium, silicon, copper and other proprietary elements.

A6 has proven to be up to 35% stronger when compared to conventional aluminum that is currently used in bicycle frame construction, additionally this high strength material is unique in the fact that with the combination of the proprietary elements and special heat treatment process the heat effected zone’s (weld area) molecular structure is reformed and A6 regains it’s original strength, thus improving the strength in this critical area by up to 30% over other materials.

This allows for thinner wall tubing in the weld zone and allows for a substantially lighter frame. With the combination of its exclusive composition and cold working processes, this new tubing offers a very unique combination of high strength, excellent formability and weld ability. This is the only high strength aluminum material on the market with these unique characteristics. Frames built with A6 are more durable, lighter-weight and stiffer.

Altair 2 starts with the finest grade aluminum with excellent strength to weight ratio and we have it drawn, butted, shaped and tapered to our custom specifications. Look closely at the tubing manipulation on some of our frames. We work harder to insure lightweight, resilient riding aluminum frames. Not an easy task!

Altair 1 also starts with the finest grade aluminum, drawn, shaped and tapered to our custom specifications. This insures consistent quality, durable and resilient frames.

Elios 2 starts with certified 4130 chrome-moly, drawn, butted and tapered to our custom specifications resulting in a smooth riding, lightweight steel frames.

Elios 1 is the same certified 4130 chrome-moly, drawn and tapered to our own specifications for excellent durability and smooth riding frames.

Fuji High Tensile (Hi-Ten), a economical high strength steel that is drawn and tapered to our custom specifications that results in a durable, comfortable frame.

Reynolds 853 when introduced in 1995, set new standards for steel bicycle tubing. The strength to weight ratio of 853 is equal to that of quality titanium frames. Normal chrome molybdenum steel will lose strength in the joints after welding, 853 actually increases in strength as the frame.
This unique air hardening property of Reynolds 853 provides additional stiffness through reduced micro yielding at the joints, allowing stiffer frames with excellent fatigue strength (when compared to standard chrome molybdenum) and excellent ride quality.

Hydro Forming is a process which liquid is injected into the tubing to obtain a desired shape. The larger surface area that is created from this procedure provides more strength and durability in the frame. This is used on few selected models on the hard tail mountain bikes.
