Hi! I'm Maynard Hershon, a cycling journalist. I worked in a bike shop years ago in Fairfax, California where we sold lots of Fujis to happy customers. I had a good feeling about Fuji quality and integrity then and I still do today. So I was delighted at this catalog-writing opportunity. Here's what I learned from selling Fujis and from chatting with Fuji America staffers... In '71 when Fuji began selling bikes in the US, Schwinn dominated the market. The one domestic brand and a few European makes WERE the market. |
